This calculator computes the cost of missed opportunities and unrealized revenue that can occur when employees miss phone calls.

This calculates the number of successful orders, and the revenue that is generated for a single restaurant (store) that uses employees for phone order-taking. Breakdowns are shown by the hour, day, week and year.

Effect of Missed Calls: The calculator shows *potential* orders and revenue that are not realized when an employee misses a call.

Future Lost Opportunity: The calculator can also extrapolate to show the potential effect of missed calls on future orders. Any time a potential customer encounters a failure to connect with the restaurant with a phone call, there is risk that the customer will change their mind and go to a different restaurant (or not buy from a restaurant on that occasion). The calculator provides several "Projections" parameters that can be used to predict future behavior of customers.

Assumptions: This assumes that the store is open 12 hours per day. The number of orders filled per hour is an average taken from the entire day.
